The workshop was aimed to enlighten sisters in the province on how to plan for the future of the Congregation especially Ghana Province, to learn how to write good projects, and to help sisters make use of the various opportunities available through which they can get support for some of their projects.

It was also to help the sisters come up with a plan on what they intend to do or to implement in the next 5 years

Prior to the meeting, a Holy Mass was held and presided over by Rev. Fr. Boniface Ameyaw, Parish Priest of St. Paul Catholic Church, Nsoatre, who in a homily, asked: “What do we as Priests and Religious gain in eternity after we have left everything to follow Christ?”

Sr. Patricia Onah, HHCJ, General Councilor to the Superior General.

He encouraged the HHCJ Sisters that their reward for leaving everything to serve the Lord would be very great.

“We may not have money in our pocket, we may not have all that we desire now but there’s a reward, there’s a recognition for our work,” Fr. Ameyaw stated.

He reminded them that as Religious, they were respected and honoured by many and that already was a reward in itself.
